Natasha H. ’27 is Foxcroft's Student of the Month

Natasha H. ’27 was announced as Student of the Month at Tuesday's Morning Meeting.

Faculty members submitted nominations for students who have demonstrated excellence in their academic life at Foxcroft. The Student of the Month is not solely concerned with classroom performance — the award also recognizes students who contribute positively to the classroom environment, demonstrate strong intellectual curiosity, and take advantage of the full scope of Foxcroft's academic program.
Before presenting Natasha with her award, Latin teacher Megan Barrett shared comments from the teachers who nominated her, including her own. "This student is an absolute joy to have in class. Not content to just complete an assignment, she strives to demonstrate that she understands the subject inside and out. She brings a positive energy to the room, encouraging her classmates to try new things, connecting ideas from previous lessons, and asking questions that benefit not only herself but those around her."

Her math teacher shared, "She asks questions to ensure she understands a concept deeply rather than relying on surface-level knowledge. This student works incredibly hard and is always willing to reassess and grow when things don't go perfectly the first time. I am stoked that we get to have her here for another three and a half years."

Her English teacher offered, "This student is the queen of Kahoot! grammar. When she understands something, she doesn’t sit idly by — she is quick to help her peers understand as well. She has really jumped into the 'English experience' at Foxcroft by being a great participant in the Writers Group. I have students who are witty, clever, and intelligent, but rarely do they combine so well in one person."

Congratulations, Natasha!
